BAD DOG REHAB

Bad Dog Rehab is actually for GOOD DOGS who struggle with:

  • Reactivity (to dogs, humans, random things)

  • Phobias

  •  Fears

  • Anxiety

  •  Obsessive Compulsions

  • and Aggressive Behaviors (Dog to Dog or Dog to Human or Both).

As an IAABC Associate Certified Dog Behavior Consultant, and the only one in the valley, we are capable of moving past the training of a dog into changing the behavior of a dog. Training is about teaching cues and Behavior is about changing the emotional state of a dog.

This starts with:

  • Taking a complete history of your dog or dogs (even if there is no known information about your dog before the came to live with you).

  • Setting up a consultation to observe body language and behavior, assess the situation, meet the humans and other dogs involved.

  • Creation of a Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) to reach the goals that are outlined in the assessment.

  • Providing owners with multiple solutions to address their needs.

We only take on a certain number of clients at a time as our programs are uniquely individualized and do not run off hourly work but rather routine lessons for a set period of time. This allows the maximum benefit and support to be provided to the families and their dogs.

If your dog is involved in a legal issue or has received county or city-mandated training orders please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to work with your case.

Pre-Requisites to a Consultation:

  • A Recent Physical with your veterinarian within 30 days.

  • A comprehensive lab-work panel from your veterinarian within 30 days.
