Our Mission

Goal One:

Starting in 2018 we evolved from the Coachella Valley Dog Club (which started in 2008) into an even bigger concept to serve the needs of the Coachella Valley. All it took was two dog-obsessed best friends and a shared dream for all dogs to be treated equally. One a trainer and behavior consultant and one a medical practitioner. Both with a love of their big dogs, their families, and tenacity to make their dreams happen.

All Big Canines (ABC) is here to provide big dogs with acres of safe space to play, train, and socialize. We have no breed restrictions and while many services are open to dogs of all sizes we have specifically designed our play spaces, training spaces, and nutritional offerings around those needs of the Large, Extra Large, and Giant Breed Dogs.

We offer 5 acres in beautifully scenic Sky Valley California just 15 minutes from Palm Springs and 22 minutes from Indio.  We offer a multitude of services to meet the needs of you and your big dog.

We look forward to continuing to improve the lives of the dogs and owners in our valley and beyond for many more decades to come.

Goal Three

To help lower the number of dogs relinquished to shelters and rescues by improving our communiti’s access to resources and support and a community access program with Esperanzas Second Chance Sanctuary.

Hello, my name is Tabitha Davies. I was born and raised in a small town in Ontario Canada and moved to Southern California in the 90's  I always dreamed of being a veterinarian and in high school, I entered into an internship that allowed me to work as veterinary support staff in a veterinary clinic in Palm Desert.

Shortly after starting my internship, as a very naive 14-year-old, I realized how many dogs were being euthanized for behavior issues and how little access to trainers we had in our area I brought up my concerns to the veterinarians I worked for and they encouraged me to pursue my education into canine behavior.

I spent the next year raiding my local library and reading every book on training and behavior and the evolution of canids. I eventually graduated high school and continued working as veterinary support staff and training my own dogs and horses.

I  have now been training professionally for over 17 years and handling behavior cases for the past 9 years. I  have my own farm including goats, horses, chickens, tortoises, turtles, pig, cat, and dogs and all of them are rescued or adopted. I also have three wonderful children and my best friend, the man who keeps us all together.
